When flying your drone, you need to think about any ground based hazards that might pose a risk to the flight of your drone.
Below is a list of the most common but not all ground based risks you might encounter.
It is recommended that you start of in as big an open space as possible to ensure that the likelihood of you coming in to conflict with the above hazards is minimised
If you find yourself close to object and you are flying in a GPS enabled mode you may find that stopping by letting go of the sticks will put your aircraft into a stable hover (Only if you do this a reasonable distance from the hazards) before the aircraft strikes an object. Once it is stable you can recompose yourself and start to safely move the aircraft way from the hazard.
