The DJI Mavic Pro is one of DJI’s smallest yet most powerful drones. While this craft is extremely light weight and portable it houses a full arsenal of additional features. Small yet stable due to DJI’s improved technology allowing it to hover and hold position like a pro and not compromise when trying to capture images or film.
The Mavic Pro has a 27-minute flight time with a maximum range of 4.3 miles while being able to stream in either full high definition 1080p/720p.
The on-board camera allows you to film in high resolution 4k while using a stabilised 3 axis gimbal so you can be sure to get the shot you need without shaky unstable imagery. The 12MP camera allows sharp images that are not compromised with its 1/2.3 CMOS sensor.
On-board positioning sensors allow the Mavic Pro to fly indoors without the need for GPS, this allows a stable filming platform while staying in the same position due to the aircraft’s vision position system.
The DJI Mavic Pro’s on-board sensors allow it to scan its surroundings and avoid or stop before it hits an object giving you complete confidence obstacles won’t become an issue.
Like all DJI aircraft, the Mavic Pro comes with a range of intelligent flight modes allowing you to capture shots and flight angles some would have thought impossible until now. These modes include:
- TRACE allowing you to actively track a subject, even whilst moving from behind or orbiting.
- PROFILE allows you to tack a subject from the sides.
- SPOTLIGHT keeps the camera locked on to a subject while the aircraft will yaw left and right allowing you to create amazing cinematic shots without the need of a second camera operator.
