Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual features a three-axis gimbal stabilised camera housing a side-by-side 4K sensor for capturing visible light and a FLIR Lepton® thermal microcamera for capturing thermal data. Together these sensors allow pilots to perform flights at night, as well as fly in complex daytime conditions like fog and smoke. Users can select from multiple intelligent display modes in the DJI Pilot flight control app to visualise data from the dual-sensor camera:

  • FLIR MSX® – FLIR’s patented MSX, or multi-spectral dynamic imaging, embosses high-fidelity, visible light details onto the thermal imagery in real time to enhance visual details, helping pilots quickly identify and interpret critical data that may not be immediately visible to the naked eye.
  • Spot Meter – Displays the average temperature of an object, helping pilots monitor and measure critical or hazardous objects while maintaining a safe distance.
  • Area Measurement – Displays the average, lowest, and highest temperature, as well as the corresponding locations of each area, allowing inspectors to quickly assess objects and determine if an asset may be overheating.
  • Isotherm – Allows pilots to designate specific temperature ranges to be displayed using a custom colour palette so objects within the range relay higher contrast and better visibility. This feature includes custom profiles to aid search and rescue pilots in identifying people and to help firefighters identify hot spots in fires, as well as a custom profile setting for added flexibility.

What’s the difference between the Mavic 2 Enterprise and the Mavic 2?
The Mavic 2 Enterprise is built on the Mavic 2 flight platform. It is an all-in-one drone solution for industrial applications.
It features an extended port to mount DJI modular accessories, and comes with a self-heating battery, 24 GB onboard storage, DJI AirSense, and is compatible with the DJI Pilot mobile app.
What industries does the Mavic 2 Enterprise serve?
The Mavic 2 Enterprise was specifically built to serve industries and applications in public safety, inspection, search & rescue, fire response, and law enforcement.
Is the Mavic 2 Enterprise waterproof?
No. We strongly advise that you do not fly your Mavic 2 Enterprise during rainy weather.
Is the Mavic 2 Enterprise capable of sensing obstacles on the left and right-hand side?
Sensing for the left and right directions is only available with Tripod Mode, please pay attention to the surroundings when flying in P Mode and S Mode.
Does the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual’s camera have optical zoom?
What purpose is the password function of the Mavic 2 Enterprise used for?
Password protection is used to protect the data that the user stores on the device’s onboard storage.
Does the password protection function also apply to the Micro SD card inserted in the Mavic 2 Enterprise?
No. The password protection function only works on the device’s 24 GB onboard storage.
In what situation do I need to enter a password on the Mavic 2 Enterprise?
1.When powering on the aircraft;
2. After connecting the aircraft with the remote controller;
3. When accessing the onboard storage data via a computer.
Can I manually set or change the password of the Mavic 2 Enterprise?
With regard to GPS timestamping, what information does this function record?
GPS timestamping records the time and GPS coordinates of when and where images are taken.
How can I enable GPS timestamping?
You can enable GPS timestamping in Camera Settings.
Does the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual support GPS timestamps?
Yes, but the GPS Timestamp can only be added in Visible Mode.
Can I adjust the spotlight angle through a remote controller?
No. Currently, you can only adjust the spotlight angle manually before flight.
What is the effective illumination distance of the spotlight?
The spotlight is capable of assisting the onboard camera to shoot clearly at around 30 meters away.
What is the effective communication distance of the loudspeaker?
Depending on background noise conditions, about 20 to 40 meters in general conditions.
What operation modes does the speaker have? Does it support real-time voice transmission?
You can use the speaker to:
1.Play voice messages that are pre-recorded with the DJI Pilot app.
2.Transmit real-time voice call-outs on the ground.
What is the effective illumination distance of the beacon?
Depending on environments, approximately 5 kilometres in general conditions.

Can I charge the batteries and remote controllers simultaneously using the Mavic 2 Enterprise charger?
How long does it take to fully charge a Mavic 2 Enterprise battery?
Approximately 1.5 hours.
How can I enable the self-heating function of the batteries?
When the temperature is between -20°C to 6°C and the battery power is higher than 50%, if the battery is powered off, press and hold the battery power button for 5 seconds to enable self-heating.
If it is powered on and is mounted on an aircraft, the self-heating function will be automatically enabled.
Will the battery life reduce if stored incorrectly?
The batteries are capable of managing their battery levels automatically at all times.
What apps are compatible with the Mavic 2 Enterprise?
The Mavic 2 Enteprise is only compatible with the DJI Pilot mobile app.
Do I have to manually enable the GPS coordinate and timestamp?
What kind of temperature measuring function does the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual support?

What does FFC stand for? What does FFC do?
FFC stands for Flat Field Correction. After the calibration, the thermal image quality will be improved, and the temperature change is easier to be observed.
What factors will influence the Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual’s temperature accuracy?
A. The influence of the atmosphere: The higher the temperature and the humidity of the atmosphere, the greater the temperature measurement error.
B. The distance between the camera and the object: The farther the distance, the greater the temperature measurement error.
C. The emissivity and background temperature of the object: When the surface emissivity of the measured object is low, and the background temperature is high, it will cause a large temperature measurement error.
Why is the thermal sensor resolution different to that of the image and video size?
Due to real-time digital enhancements, the photo and video size of the thermal data is larger than the sensor’s native resolution.
