DJI ‘See The Bigger Picture’ Event Delayed Following Mavic Pro II ‘Leak’

DJI continue to amaze us with the drones they produce year after year.

And when the company announced an exclusive event last month, we were all hoping this was the date we would finally get to see the highly anticipated DJI Mavic Pro II.

But while we were all very much looking forward to the upcoming DJI event next week, dubbed See The Bigger Picture – where many expected the release of the Mavic Pro II – has now been postponed amid alleged leaked images of the new Mavic quadcopter online.

According to reports, DroneDJ were the first website to publish the image – which appears to show the new drone with ‘Mavic 2’ printed on one of the propellers and seems to reveal some interesting new features that the Mavic Pro II might have.

From the leaked image, we can see that the new and improved Mavic Pro seems to have a sleeker and more aerodynamic design but still has the same shape and colour as its predecessor.

The image also appears to show several different parts on the table, which looks to include a removable gimbal, while reports have also suggested that the brand-new Mavic may even have improved 360-degree obstacle avoidance technology.

The leak comes just days after we revealed that another highly anticipated DJI drone – the Phantom 4 RTK – has already been listed on the company’s website before the actual product has been released.
