In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to update the Firmware of your DJI Ronin S via your PC with DJI Pro Assistant.
Before you start, you’ll need to ensure the following:
- Your Ronin-S battery level is higher than 50%. The firmware update will fail if the camera stabilisers’s battery power is less than 50%.
- We recommended that your Ronin-S is turned off whilst being updated.
- Before using the Ronin-S make sure to assemble and balance the stabiliser. You can find our guide on how to balance the Ronin-S here.
Connect the Ronin-S to the PC with the standard Type-C cable.
Launch DJI Pro Assistant for Ronin and log in to your DJI account.
Click ‘RONIN-S’ to enter the firmware upgrade page and wait for the firmware list to refresh.
Select the required firmware version and then click ‘UPGRADE’.
After the firmware is downloaded, the gimbal will automatically update.
After the update is complete, restart the Ronin-S.
Your Ronin-S is ready to go. You can get back to shooting the best possible footage with the latest firmware.
