Tap the notification and a download menu will pop up. Once the menu pops up, click ‘Download Now’:
Once the update package has been downloaded, it will automatically begin updating the firmware package:
When finished, the app will display a notification indicating that the update is complete, simply click ‘OK’:
Once the firmware updates for your aircraft and remote controller and batteries are complete, simply restart your aircraft.
Updating your Mavic Pro Platinum Aircraft and Remote Controller Firmware with DJI Assistant 2
Note: Upgrading the firmware on your aircraft will take approx. 10 minutes.
Connect the remote controller to your PC or Mac with the USB cable and power on both the remote controller and aircraft:
Launch DJI Assistant 2 and enter your account and password to log in:
Click into ‘Firmware Update’ on the left navigation pane to bring up the firmware list. Select the newest firmware version and click ‘UPGRADE’:
Click ‘Start Update’ and the upgrade package will begin downloading:
Once the download is complete, upgrading will begin automatically. Your aircraft and remote controller have been upgraded to the latest firmware, please restart before use.
If your aircraft and remote controller firmware versions are inconsistent, you will need to update their firmware separately. Simply connect the aircraft via USB and follow the same steps, then connect the remote controller via USB and follow the same steps (one after the other). Now your DJI Mavic Pro Platinum and remote controller are ready to go and you can get back in the skies with the latest firmware.
