In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to mount and detach the DJI Mavic Pro and/or Mavic Pro Platinum propellers.
Before you start, you’ll need to ensure the following:
- Your Mavic Pro / Mavic Pro Platinum aircraft is turned off and the arms are extended.
Mounting the Mavic Pro Propellers
You will have two sets of propellers with marks and two unmarked sets:
The mark is used to indicate which direction the propeller should rotate:
Firstly, take the marked set of propellers and attach them to the corresponding marked motor mounting base:
Then press the propeller down, whilst rotating it clockwise until it is firmly locked in:
Next, attach the sets of unmarked propellers to the corresponding unmarked motor mounting bases:
Press the propeller down, whilst rotating it anti-clockwise until it is firmly locked in:
You should then check the propellers are secure by holding the motors whilst rotating the propellers:
Detaching the Mavic Pro Propellers
Hold the motors whilst pressing the propellers down into the mounting base and rotate them in the opposite direction to unlock:
Your propellers will now have successfully detached from the motor mounting base:
