DJI Mavic Pro: How to Charge the Battery

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to charge the DJI Mavic Pro and/or Mavic Pro Platinum intelligent flight battery.

Before you start, you’ll need to ensure the following:

  • Your Mavic Pro battery falls within the optimal charging temperature range of 5°C to 40°.
  • You do not cover the charger or battery during the charging process.
  • You only charge the Mavic Pro Battery with an official DJI Battery Charger or Battery Charging Hub.

There are two methods you can use to charge your Mavic Pro / Mavic Pro Platinum battery:

  1. Charging with a Charger
  2. Charging with a Battery Charging Hub

Charging with the Mavic Pro Battery Charger

Firstly, you will need to ensure the intelligent flight battery is turned off and then remove it from your Mavic Pro / Mavic Pro Platinum aircraft:

Secondly, connect the battery to the charger:

During charging, the battery level indicators will blink:

Then the battery level indicators will turn off to notify you that the battery has been fully charged:

Charging is now complete and you can remove the battery from the charger:

Charging with the Mavic Pro Battery Charging Hub

Start by connecting the battery charger to the power port location at the underneath of the charging hub:

Once connected, the Status LED Indicator will turn yellow:

To begin charging, simply connect an intelligent flight battery onto the battery charging hub. You can charge up to four batteries at one time:

The battery with the highest power level will charge first, followed by the next highest and so forth. During charging the Status LED Indicator will flash green slowly…

…and will change to solid green once all of the connected batteries are fully charged:

Charging is now complete and you can remove the battery(s) from the charging hub:
