In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to link the Mavic 2 Remote Controller to the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and/or Mavic 2 Zoom.

Before you start, you’ll need to download the DJI GO 4 app in the App Store or Google Play on your smartphone.


When the Mavic 2 Remote Controller cannot be connected to the aircraft, your Mavic 2 Aircraft Status Indicators will flash yellow quickly (every 0.5 seconds) to notify you that re-linking is required.

There are a couple of different ways to complete the re-linking:

Linking the Mavic 2 Remote Controller with DJI GO 4

Firstly, you’ll need to turn on your remote controller and aircraft:

Once you’ve entered the flight interface via your smartphone, click on ‘Settings’ (three horizontal white dots) in the top right corner:

Then click on the ‘Remote Controller Settings’:

Now scroll to the bottom and click the button ‘Linking Remote Controller’ and tap ‘OK’ on the next screen:

Linking will begin and the remote controller will start beeping:

You should now press the Link Button, which can be found on the right of the aircraft. The small red LED light will turn from red to green once this has been pressed:

Your aircraft should then stop flashing yellow and change to a slower green flash.

The GO 4 app will let you know that the remote controller has been linked successfully:

Linking the Mavic 2 Remote Controller with Combination Buttons

Firstly, press down on the C1, C2 and Record buttons on your remote controller simultaneously:

Once you here the beeping noise, press down on the Shutter button as well, so that all four buttons are being pressed:

Your remote controller will display as ‘Binding’ to confirm the linking process has begun:

You should now press the Link Button, which can be found on the right of the aircraft. The small red LED light will turn from red to green once this has been pressed:

Your aircraft should then stop flashing yellow and change to a slower green flash:

Your Mavic 2 Remote Controller has now been linked successfully.
