In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to detach and reattach the Gimbal Protector to your DJI Mavic 2 Pro and/or Mavic 2 Zoom.
Before you start, you’ll need to ensure the following:
- Your Mavic 2 aircraft is turned off and the arms are folded.
How to Detach the Gimbal Protector
Firstly, you will need to turn your Mavic 2 aircraft upside down on a table or flat surface:
Press down on the top buckle to release the gimbal protector:
Now, lift the Gimbal Protector all the way over until it is completely separated from the aircraft:
The Gimbal Protector is now detached from your Mavic 2 aircraft.
How to Reattach the Gimbal Protector
Firstly, you will need to hold the gimbal steady so that it’s facing forward:
Next, slide the grooved side of your Gimbal Protector underneath the Gimbal:
Push the Gimbal Protector in and over the Gimbal, whilst clicking the lower buckles into the groove:
Once you’ve clicked the lower buckles in, you can click the top buckle in:
The Gimbal Protector is now attached to your Mavic 2 aircraft.
