DJI Mavic 2: How to Update the Firmware

DJI Mavic 2_Updating the Firmware

In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to update the Firmware of your DJI Mavic 2 Pro and/or Mavic 2 Zoom.

Before you start, you’ll need to ensure the following:

  • You have download and installed the latest version of DJI GO 4 app in the App Store or Google Play on your smartphone.
  • Your Mavic 2 battery level is higher than 50%. The firmware update will fail if the aircraft’s or remote controller’s battery power is less than 50%.

There are two different ways to update your DJI Mavic 2’s firmware: Via the DJI GO 4 app or via the DJI Assistant 2. When updating via DJI Assistant 2, please note that the aircraft and remote controller must be updated separately.
