3 day drone training course
UDT recommends students new to drone flying take the combined course as it includes 2 days’ theory training and 1 day flying and commercial operations training.
The flying training day includes hands on drone flying and an exercise of planning and flying a commercial job. The combined course leads to our recommendation to the CAA for granting of the applicants Permission for Commercial Operations (PFCO). This allows you to do commercial work with drones.
Our 2-day ground course is included in both the Comprehensive Course and the Combined Course. If you choose our 3 day Combined course, this includes an extra day of practical instruction concentrating on how to plan and fly a commercial job. This is invaluable for those looking to maximise their chances of passing their flight test and those who want to “hit the ground running” when they start commercial operations.
If you wish to complete the course in three days with a flight test at the end of the third day you will need the following completed before the flight test:
All course days run from 08:30 to 17:00, please allow plenty of time for traffic.
Day 1 of the Uplift Drone Training theory course will cover the following subjects that meet and exceed the CAA recommended syllabus.
Day 2 introduces exciting new subjects that will expand your knowledge of Drone operations and prove invaluable in your career.
You will learn to operate safely £20,000 of Unmanned Aircraft, fully insured under our expert instructors guidance.
